Week 16 Results

10 games ago, John was 30-24 and sitting in first place. Since then he’s gone 2-8 and has fallen to .500 for the year. He continued his losing ways this week, dropping 3 of 4 to Bob. Rich kept his hold on first place, splitting with Phil and keeping both Phil and John 2 games back. Tim and Paul, fighting over the scraps at the bottom of the division, split 4 games. Sandy Alcantara clinched the split with 8 innings of 4-hit shutout ball. Sergio Romo closed things out for Tim, preserving the whitewash despite his 5.12 ERA. Impressive feat, since Paul has the 2,3,4 hitters in the batting race (Yelich .339, Marte .338, Flores .328) along with the 8th place hitter (Altuve .302).

In the other division, Robert kept things moving with a split against Chris, who fell into third place by a game. Dougald took 3 of 4 from Mark to claim sole ownership of 2nd place and push Mark 3 games out of playoff position.
